The projects “The Design Study of the Sewerage Network of the City of Kukës and of Informal Areas, Municipality of Elbasan” aim at the removal of urban wastewater and their disposal in a a clean and hygienic environment according to the standards in force. The main objective of this service is to carry out a Design Study for the construction / reconstruction of Sewerage networks and all its constituent components. The design of sewerage networks should be designed with unfiltered pipes in some areas.
Consulting tasks are divided into 7 phases:
PHASE I – Analysis of the design task / terms of reference and determination of the project basis
PHASE II – Preliminary project-idea
PHASE III – Final project idea
PHASE IV – Projects for the approval of the construction permit
PHASE V – Detailed Designs
PHASE VI – Final Preventions
PHASE VII – Preparation of documentation for the tendering procedures.
The Project aim:
- The full coverage with sewerage network for the urban wastewater disposal for all project areas.
- The collector Design for the stormwater disposal in the requrired areas according to the report.
- Reconstruction & replacement of the sewerage network in depreciated conditions, including Inspection Manholes.
- Success indicator for program measuring is the 100% connection of the population living in the project area (Direct Outcome) and suistanable standards.
- The measures include the rehabilitation & construction of water disposal systems and their discharge after treatment according to the Albanian legislation in force for the standards of urban wastewater disposal.
Consultant services:
- Report and detailed analysis on the separation of the stormwater network from the urban wastewater, identification of needs for urban wastewater disposal on a 20-25 year perspective by studying and analyzing the actual situation of the urban wastewater sewerage network with the updated existing network and ongoing projects being carried out by other institutions.
- Detailed Designs of all detected areas arising from the situation analysis for the stormwater and urban wastewater disposal.
The WWTP location proposal, as well as drafting the Conceptual Design for the type and technology of WWTP.
