The Project concerns the rehabilitation, renewal and extension of the water supply network as well as some urgent measures in the sewer system of the regional Water Utilities Shirak CJSC, Lori CJSC, Nor Akunq CJSC and AWSC as well as in the waste water treatment plant in Armavir.
Lori region has approx. 112.000 inhabitants, Nor Akunq has approx.. 68.000 inhabitants. Project’s cities are about 120 km near the capital city of Yerevan.
Consulting Services of the water supply network and sewer system design are as below:
- Lori – Lot 2/1 Package LA: water supply distribution network system of Vanadzor town (about 23) , water transmission system (ring feeder, about 8.4 km), transmission lines to reservoirs of villages Hobardzi / Vardablur, Amrakits, Gugark, and about 1.200 new house connections including water meters.
- Lori – Lot 2/1 Package B: water supply distribution network system of villages (about 90 km), and about 3.200 new house connections including water meters, rehabilitation of two reservoirs (125m3 and 600m3) and reconstruction of three Tyrol-Type Mountain Receiving Artwork (water capacity 230 l / s and 260 l / s);
- Nor Akunq – Lot 2/2 Package A: Rehabilitation of water supply distribution network DMA-1 of Armavir town (about 60 km), and about 2.600 new house connections including water meters, rehabilitation of the main sewer collector DN1000-1200 (about 5.4km);
- Nor Akunq – Lot 2/2 Package B: Design of main pressure transmission line form pump station to WWTP (about 1.4 km), rehabilitation of main pumping station (calculated flow 869 m3/h), and design of WWTP (about 46.500 PE consumers).

SRP Albanian Engineering has provided assistance in preparing of the Detailed Project for the following lots:
Lori – Lot 2/1 Package LA:
- Water supply distribution network system of zone nr. 8 in Vanadzor: WWTP Section – Dimats Reservoir.
- Ring transmission line, Section Novoseltsove - Taron 2 Reservoir.
- Feeder line of the Amrakits reservoir and Pump Staction, Feeder line of Hobardzi/Vardablur reservoir, Feeder line of Gugark reservoir,
- Division of Vanadzor in Zones 6.1 and 6.2
Lori – Lot 2/1 Package B:
- Water supply distribution network system of following villages: Amrakits, Antaramut, Dzoragyugh, Gukark, Hobardzi, Kurtan, New Lernapat, Vahagni dhe Vardablur;
- Rehabilitation of reservoirs Gurkark-1 and Lernapat;
- Design of three River Intakes;
Nor Akunq – Lot 2/2 Package A:
- Rehabilitation of the main sewer collector (Armavir-Metsamor);
- Rehabilitation of water supply distribution network of Armavir DMA-1
Nor Akunq – Lot 2/2 Package B: about 1.4 km),
- WWTP (Pond System)
- Rehabilitation of the Main Sewer Pump Station in Metsamor
- Design of main pressure transmission line form pump station to WWTP
Specific services offered:
- Preparation of hydraulic models, related calculations and hydrotechnical reports for all components described for each package;
- Preparation of structural calculations and structural reports for three Mountain Receiving Artwork, Gukark and Lernapat reservoirs.
- Preparation of detailed drawings for the works described above;
- Preparation of the BoQ and Cost estimates.
