🏗️ Construction works for the new Viroi Bridge are progressing.
SRP Albanian Engineering is engaged in the supervision of the works, together with JV SRP Schneider & Partner Ingenieur-Consult GmbH & SEED Consulting.
Located along the SH4 corridor toward the Kakavija border crossing, the new bridge will feature 33 meters in length, 7 meters in width, two traffic lanes, and pedestrian sidewalks on both sides. The project aims to reduce travel time, improve safety during floods, and strengthen connectivity for communities in Southern Albania.
With no alternative routes in the area, the new bridge will ensure uninterrupted traffic throughout the year. More than 200,000 vehicle users and 150,000 pedestrians are expected to benefit from this investment, contributing to a more climate-resilient transport infrastructure.
